Historic Apparatus

1937 Chevrolet Triple Combination Pumper
The department proudly preserves a historic 1937 Chevrolet triple combination pumper, originally built by the Garrison Engineering Corporation of Great Barrington, Massachusetts.
250-gallon booster tank
Equipped with two dry powder extinguishers upon delivery—the first of their kind in the area
Following delivery, Garrison Engineering Corporation was acquired by the Sealand Corporation
Sealand provided four identification plates, which were installed on the apparatus and remain in place today
This apparatus represents the early innovation and commitment to fire protection within the Bloomingburg community and serves as an important part of the department’s heritage.
