About Us
The Bloomingburg Fire Service is comprised of three distinct but closely coordinated organizations: the Bloomingburg Joint Fire District, Bloomingburg Fire Company #1, and the Bloomingburg Ladies Auxiliary. Together, these entities work to ensure efficient operations, strong community support, and high-quality emergency services.
The Bloomingburg Joint Fire District is the governing body responsible for funding and oversight. Through taxpayer support, the District provides and maintains the firehouse, apparatus, and essential equipment required to protect the community.
The Bloomingburg Fire Company #1 is made up of dedicated volunteer firefighters who respond to emergencies. These men and women serve on the front lines, providing fire suppression, rescue services, and emergency assistance whenever needed.
The Bloomingburg Ladies Auxiliary plays a vital support role. Members provide refreshments and rehabilitation support during emergency incidents and training events, while also assisting with fundraising and community activities that strengthen the department as a whole.
Together, these three organizations form a unified team committed to protecting life, property, and the well-being of the Bloomingburg community.
