The Bloomingburg Fire District is proud to announce the groundbreaking of Station 2 on Ski Run Road. Construction is already moving quickly, and we are excited to see this important project taking shape.

Once completed, Station 2 will significantly improve emergency response times for the Burlingham and Roosa Gap areas of our district, cutting response times in half. In emergency situations, every second matters. Fire can double in size every 30 seconds, making a faster response critical to protecting lives and property.

This new station will strengthen the district’s ability to serve our community more effectively and may also contribute to improved insurance rates for some property owners.

We are grateful to the builders and crews working hard to keep this project moving forward, even through the cold and snowy weather. Their dedication is helping bring this much-needed improvement to life.

The Bloomingburg Fire District looks forward to opening Station 2 and continuing to provide the highest level of service to the community we are proud to protect.

Fire Prevention Reminder: Make sure your smoke alarms are working properly and test them at least once a month.
