Bloomingburg Fire Company Responds to Serious Motor Vehicle Accident |

| On Saturday, March 15, 2026, at 5:47 p.m., the Bloomingburg Fire Company was dispatched to Ferguson Road for a reported motor vehicle accident with serious injuries. New York State Police arrived first and were followed by Bloomingburg Fire Company units and EMS personnel. Crews from all responding agencies worked together to provide patient care at the scene. Due to the severity of the injuries, a medical helicopter was requested to transport one patient to a higher level of care. Summitville Fire Department established a landing zone at its station to support the medevac operation. Additional patient care assistance was provided by Mamakating First Aid Squad and the Sullivan County EMS fly car. Ferguson Road remained closed for a period of time while New York State Police conducted their investigation. Bloomingburg Fire Company extends its thoughts and prayers to everyone involved and impacted by this incident. The company also thanks all assisting agencies for their coordinated response and professionalism during a challenging call.
